This Mantra for me represents the essence of yoga - striving towards peace, freedom and calm for all; the unity of us as a species, how eventually we are all connected, all influencing the people closer and further us in more or less tangible ways.

I’ve felt more and more that I should do something to contribute to helping the people of Ukraine (I imagine I’m not alone in this), also acknowledging that so many of us feel overwhelmed right now - are constantly scrolling the news and updates, reading countless calls for help and for donations, perhaps not knowing what to do, worrying about what the near future brings, busier heads etc.

I feel that now we need even more those moments to actually connect with our breaths and bodies, to how we actually feel. To allow the well-tried-out ancient practices of yoga to help us find the inner calm which helps us to remain peaceful and less reactive to others, ultimately going back to the same starting point - happiness and freedom for all beings (including ourselves). And of course creating the physical space and movement in our bodies so that the extra worry doesn’t create physical tension. Therefore:

If you have been playing with the thought of a yoga practice then come! Now is the best time to at least for the next month really choose to take those little pockets of time for yourself whenever it fits you, to help you be a bit more present and find a bit more calm within and ground beneath.

As always, there are 3 weekly morning and evening livestreams which will be recorded and available for you to practice anytime, additionally there’s a new shorter class added to the pre-existing library of 60+ yoga class videos - faster or slower, longer or shorter every weekend.

You definitely don’t need to do it all - but try to make it a habit to dedicate a little time for your wellbeing at least once a week! (Find the schedule below)

This month I will keep the classes slower, calmer, giving more space to breathe and be. Therefore they will also be very much beginner-friendly if fearing that you don’t have enough experience has been holding you back. Not to worry - this practice is for every body, every amount of experience.

* 18.30 - 19.00 - 30min Yin- style Rest & Relax to slow down and unwind from your day and week (19.30 in Estonia)
